The National Geographic Society strives to host inclusive, accessible events for all individuals, including individuals with disabilities.
The venue, the International Trade Center at the Ronald Reagan Building, is compliant with the Americans with Disabilities Act Standards for Accessible Design (ADA). The venue has elevator access, ramps, wellness rooms, and accessible restrooms. Single stall restrooms are located up the stairs to the right of the amphitheater. Follow the signs marked "Additional Restrooms". Downloadable maps of the building are available on its website.
Our Mainstage programming will include live American Sign Language (ASL) interpretation with captioning available on your personal device in English and Spanish. For those joining us online, our virtual venue offers captioning capabilities.
We will work with attendees to help them experience Storytellers Summit in the best way possible. If your accessibility needs are not listed above, please indicate them during your registration process or contact us directly at events@ngs.org.
